To what extent are politicians present on the Twitter platform, i.e., have accounts? The graph below provides a comparison across parties. Each bar shows the proportion of number of politicians in the different parties who have a Twitter account. For example, it can be seen that the CDU/CSU has the lowest percentage of members who have a Twitter account. Naturally, merely having an account or not does not necessarily tell us how active a party's politicians are on Twitter.
